Breakfast Clubs

Dunamis Church began Yarrabilba Breakfast Clubs in 2018 with a heart to ensure no child starts their school day hungry. This vital initiative was later entrusted to 5FOLD, who now proudly carry it forward.

With statistics showing that nearly 3 in 5 children arrive at school without having eaten breakfast, we are committed to changing that story – one meal at a time.

Today, Yarrabilba Breakfast Clubs run across five locations with 5FOLD delivering approximately 3,000 free, nutritious breakfasts each week to local students, giving them the best possible start to their day.

Our Story

EASTERVILLE

EASTERVILLE is Dunamis Church’s way of showering the love of Jesus on the Yarrabilba community in a fun, creative and memorable way. Led by our passionate Events Team, this annual celebration brings together over 40 local businesses to create a vibrant Easter village for all ages to enjoy.

With amusements, rides, food, free activities and more, there’s something for everyone – including our legendary and famous Annual Carrot Throw competition which currently holds a record of 95.7m!

It’s a day packed with joy, connection and community spirit.

Community Christmas Celebration

Dunamis Church hosts a heartfelt Community Christmas Celebration for families experiencing financial hardship or navigating domestic violence. Our heart is to meet people right where they’re at, listening to their stories, showing them they are not alone and helping them realise their full potential.

We ensure these families experience the joy of Christmas by providing food and personalised gifts for their children, hand-delivered by Santa himself! This support allows families to focus on essential needs, whether it’s catching up on bills, managing debt or preparing for the school year ahead.

Running since 2019 and now delivered in partnership with 5FOLD, this celebration continues to shine the love of Jesus in a tangible, meaningful way each Christmas.

Our Story

Annual Christmas Hamper Appeal

Since 2015, Dunamis Church has led the way in bringing hope during the festive season through its Annual Christmas Hamper Appeal.

Now run in partnership with 5FOLD, this initiative sees residents, businesses and families from both within the church and the wider community come together with one purpose – to support those doing it tough at Christmas.

These hampers of hope are delivered during the Christmas week to families across Yarrabilba and Logan Village, offering not just practical help, but a heartfelt reminder that they are seen, valued and not alone, which allows Dunamis’ team to witness the love of Jesus in a real and tangible way during the most meaningful time of the year.

Christmas Carols Spectacular

The Christmas Carols Spectacular is Dunamis Church’s joyful showcase of classic carols and a powerful drama that brings the true story of Christmas to life.

First launched in 2021, this event has quickly become a cherished tradition in our community and it gets bigger and better each year!

With a heartfelt storyline that resounds with the message of hope, love and grace, it’s our way of celebrating the season and reaching out with the love of Jesus.

Our dedicated Events Team pour their creativity and excellence into every detail, delivering a night full of music, meaning and festive joy for all ages.
